All About Me

Hi I’m Kate,


I am a mum to two fabulous children and I have a big passion for Fitness and helping others to achieve their goals!


I started off as a gymnast when I was 5 and then 11 years later it all came to an end when I became ill and I injured my back at the same time.


After many scans and investigations, Pilates was the way forward to help me with my rehabilitation. That’s where my passion started!


Pilates allowed me to still be involved in gymnastics as a coach and i also went on to university to get a Bsc (Hons) in Sports Therapy.


In 2017 I decided to take the step to becoming an instructor. 


With the knowledge from my degree and personal experience I went straight in to specialising in back care with Pilates. I then built on this and moved in to gyms giving me the ability to teach such a wide audience and being able to tailor the class to suit different abilities.


Having children of my own, I saw a huge gap in the market and in 2018 I qualified as an instructor for Fitness Pilates for Mums & Tots. This allows mums to bring their tots with them to exercise.


Having all this, it gave me the encouragement to start building my own business with my own classes and offering 1:1 sessions. I have since gained my Advanced Fitness Pilates in Pregnancy qualification too. 


I love teaching Pilates to everyone whether it is for fitness, rehabilitation or mental wellbeing, everyone can gain something from it! 


More recently I chose to qualify as a Barre Strength Instructor. I wanted to be able to offer my clients a little more and reach out to new ones. Barre Strength takes me back to my gymnastics days where I used to participate in ballet to improve my gymnastics. It’s a fantastic workout, low impact, fun and you don’t even have to be a ballet dancer!
